We have created a dedicated pediatric cardiac intensive care unit (PCICU) to provide world-class care to the growing number of pediatric patients with congenital heart disease, and to better serve the needs of more patients in its pediatric intensive care unit. The unit opened January 9, 2019, and was funded through generous philanthropic support. Our PCICU is one of only three in the state and the only in the western half of Michigan.
Neonatal care
We collaborate extensively with renowned pediatric subspecialists at Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital. Should your baby require additional care following delivery, we work closely with our neonatologist team in the Helen DeVos Children's Hospital Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), the only Level 4 NICU in West Michigan and the largest NICU in the state of Michigan.
