This is intended as a tool to guide evidence-based care. Recommendations included in a clinical guideline were developed based on available evidence at the time of publication. It shall not supersede clinical judgment, nor be construed as the standard of care. Clinicians, using their judgment and discretion, may choose to modify or not follow the clinical guideline if they are not suitable for certain patients based on their diagnoses and co-morbidities.
